Most good things start with a conversation. Sometimes we talk on Al Jazeera English news bulletins; or diving deeper, on AJE’s Inside Story. Sometimes, we get to speak one on one.

I’ve also always loved the intimacy of radio conversations. When based in Africa, I spoke often to Public Radio International/BBC's "The World", and I had the privilege of shaping the conversation on South Africa’s biggest talk radio stations, Talk Radio 702 and Cape Talk. I also told stories across Southern Africa for several years, for NPR.
